A RACE TO CASTLE: WHO WINS???

Politics! Politics! Politics!!… it’s a season of politics in Ghana, and honestly am not a fan of politics but this one got me. I can’t possible believe I can stay glued to T.V and myjoyfm all night in anticipation of the voting updates. This vote is clearly a one between NPP and NDC. Anyways for those who are not in familiar with Ghana. Ghana has over 23 Political parties and only 8 of them were elected as the nations Flag bearers and what I kept thinking of is how I can boldly mention only two parties NPP and NDC.
Actually since Friday, December 7 till date, it has been a race to the Castle between Nana Akuffo Addo of NPP and John Mahama of NDC. Whether the race is going to end in peace or not is a question I ask myself now.
We all had hope before the voting I strongly voted for NPP in spirit as I will be arrested if found smelling the voting centers by Ghana Police force, I anxiously expecting victory as NPP was on a high vote before declining which got me into panic. Not until now I had my hope lost but not fully lost perhaps some miracle will show as the TV Stations has projected JM as the next Ghana President which is to say NDC in power again. I actually don’t like NDC due to some history which whenever recall get me traumatized, nevertheless I love welcoming chances, NPP should be given a chance. That’s my opinion oo for some political analyst will attack me here.
But wait, Nana Akuffor Addo of NPP used four whole years for campaign while John Mahama used only four months, I reserve my comment but will ask only few questions
  • Was Nana a stingy person and JM a strong giver?
  • Is it that one’s strategy surpasses the other?
  • I met Nana running for presidential election last four years, should he continue again in 2016?
  • Or should I think that is personality stuff, then should Nana Akuffo Addo be changed with another from NPP?

For those in political mood, be my guest…as we anxiously at same time patiently wait for the EC (electoral commission) to announce the result.
Feel free to drop your comment.

HAPPY SUNDAY: My Heaven on Earth

To so many, they seem to have lost in so many ways. It even appears as if they stroll in darkness without any guide; lost focus, without road map, indecisive, you know how it feels so you can name them along. I can probably share the cost of losing one hand with you. You probably can’t function effectively without a complete set, you might be feeling it won’t be and ever be perfect as to compare with both hands. But for the grace of God, he sent his son Jesus to help us out, and that’s why Paul said in Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”. In the underlined word (do all things) it depicts he can perform any activity, biblically can survival in any trial and temptation that may come his way, if we cross reference this passage with 2 Corinthians 12:9 “ But he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you,for my power is made perfect in weakness’. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. Doesn’t it boost your confidence level, as for me MY EGO IS JUST TOO MUCH our strength in Christ can impact us in our living and that’s why we do not need to quit while trying, we do not need to yield to circumstance beyond our control and forfeit what we have in our mind. Believe me when I say I found this passage inspiring to me and thought I should share with my readers. It is like a friend I never had inspiring me to push on and whenever I do, I found heaven on earth and then I hear this voice inside, you did it again and again and again girl you are courageous.
You’ve been alone even when surrounded by your friends, peradventure the silence seems so loud to you, especially when your friends talks about their achievement and you are just way behind them, it a normalcy’s for every human being in your situation, but then I would advice…go on cos you still have Jesus, is just the two of you when light turn off. You were never alone from the very first time.
Sometimes luck, opportunity comes and pass us by simply as a result of we not paying attention, busy making plans instead of executions,  suddenly we wake up and realize that we did missed our chance. Some says ‘opportunity calls but once’ but for me it keeps calling and the secret is this simple John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit, apart from me you can do nothing”. So it is, I belong to Jesus and you should join me. He is my heaven on earth and my first and last. Say Halleluiah.
Happy Sunday, Stay Inspired

Friday 7 December 2012

MY EGO IS JUST TOO MUCH.

This is for the women out there.
…I would rather think I am created for a special purpose than to think I am just made like every other woman. Some people yeah may see you and regard you as many but it is me and you to let them know we are unique, there can’t be me and you should let the world know you don’t have a duplicate. Make a perfection, make a difference, everyone does one thing, same thing but you can turn that same ritual to a whole new thing. Does it sound like a common sense, it is thinking outside the box, I live in the world of imagination and my imagination I turn to reality…like I fondling joke with my friends in college I make things happen. Not a robot, I am my own boss, I command and people just follow. Why should this happen? It just simple, I  am a big deal. I am strong. I am wide and can’t fit into anyone’s shoe. It’s not a mere talk, I can show for it, I got evidence. Men love me for this, but some people who feel inferior would say am arrogant, but the actual fact is I am confident of who I am, wonderfully and fearfully created. I humbly kill people with my connections. My Ego is just too much.
Do not let people to belittle you…..stay inspired.

INSPIRED: Aspire great things....don't quit!!!

….Perhaps you’ve asked yourself what have I done wrong. Where am I heading to? At what point should I say I have done it, have I hit the target…No!! Will I hit it? Maybe I set unattainable standard, maybe am just a dreamer, maybe I am weak, I am a failure, I can’t achieve anything, I did tried but it was unsuccessful, am afraid I won’t be accepted, how will I break into the market, can I? I doubt, and the question, thoughts goes on and on.
This is mostly the questions majority find themselves asking especially when the year/month is running out . I would first start by congratulating us when such questions come, I considered that the focal point to our destination. It really proves to you that you are on the right track to your destiny. Success in live never comes too easily, obviously there will be hindrance, distractions, and many more stuff on the path to success. The way you handle such situation determines how soon you will get there.

Do you think you will never get there? The I put it to you that fear is gripping your entire body, mind and soul and you need to let go it. Proverbs 25:28, “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. In essence if you don’t have rule over that fear, there is trouble… for the record, consistently calculating the emerged personalities who have unanimously and successfully made a revolutionary impact in the world had fears some point in time but they did not give heed to those fear, they followed their emotions, which actively gave them their direction to achieve and leave up to their dream.
December might be the last month of the year 2012 but with God on our side not the last month for our life on earth, neither is it the last year of our lives, therefore for the ones we have not be able to accomplished can still be achieved it is a work-in-progress.
When you doubt your capability, you are rather giving room to traitors which will immediately welcome fear of attempting once and over again. Sometimes, when I fail, I take a break, not to sleep or quit naaah!! But to study why I did fail and how I will overcome that obstacle to my success.

I do not underestimate who I am because I have sat with the Managing Directors of big Enterprise and ask myself what at all do they have that I don’t? The only substance I can say they have that we don’t have or might not have is persistence, consistency and being proactive. Keep the dream spirit, think highly, and remember the tower of Babel. Can you beat that? Building to reach the heaven so they can reach God easily, it was nearly achieved, if not that it wasn’t the will of God.
I challenge us to be confident in our thoughts, dreams and target. It will be necessary that you put down your dreams on a paper and firmly follow it daily. With prayers and the grace of God on your life. You will get there one day. Roman was not built in a day.
“The greatest mistake you can ever make in life is to continual think that you can make one” ~Elbert Hubbard
