Beyonce had some
bad news come out yesterday. Not only were there several reports that she
caused the power to go out at the Superdome twice during her rehearsals last
week, now comes news that some how Madonna beat her in the halftime ratings.
I'm actually shocked by that. I feel like everyone in the world is talking
about Beyonce's performance way more than Madonna's was discussed last year.
Second, the Super Bowl this weekend set a record for most watched television
show in US history. The ratings don't lie though and Beyonce got 104M viewers
and Madonna got 112.5M. That is almost a ten percent bump for Madonna in a show
that was rated lower.
